Master Drills

No. 1. – Basic passing with two touches:

Distance to doors: Standard is 1 meter( 50 cm to 5 meters is ok, depending on skills)
Use 2 touches. Pass the ball trough the door, move over to the next door, stop the ball and pass it back.
Test / Competition:
1. Measuring the number of passes until you miss
2. How many passes in 60 seconds. (If the ball stops/go away, the player picks the ball up and place it on the line a passes the ball again).
For both drills: the ball must touch the line before passing is back.
After 2 weeks practice, take a new test.

 

No. 2. – Basic pass one touch:

No. 3. – Two players passing:

Distance to doors: Standard is 1 meter( 50 cm to 5 meters is ok, depending on skills)
The players are standing at each entrance and hit the ball back to each other on either one or two touches.
Test / Competition:
1. How many passes two players can make before they miss (remember that the ball must come out of the entrance either 50 cm or 1 meter),
2. How many passes in 60 seconds. (If the ball stops/go away, the player picks the ball up and place it on the line a passes the ball).
For both drills: the ball must touch the line before passing is back.
After 2 weeks practice, take a new test:-
3. BEST
The players have one touch and passes the ball through the entrance; the other player passes it back.  The ball must reach the line before the player can pass the ball back.
If player A miss, player B gets a letter(B). Next will be B etc.
The player that missed the pass starts the first pass. In the end, one of the players is BEST.
BEST can be played every day.

 

No. 4. –  Pass and move with two touches:

Distance to doors: Standard is 1 meter( 50 cm to 2 meters is ok, depending on skills)
Use 2 touches. Pass the ball trough the door, move over to the next door, pick up the ball and bring the ball back with one touch to the door you started. After a while, start with the other door, that way you get to use both feets.
Test / Competition:
1. Measuring the number of passes until you miss
2. How many passes in 60 seconds. (If the ball stops/go away, the player picks the ball up and place it on the line a passes the ball again).
For both drills: the ball must touch the line before passing is back.
After two weeks practice, take a new test.

 

No. 5. – With a cone:

Set up a centered cone 3 meters behind the wall. The player pass into the door. Bring the ball around the cone and the passes again.
After a while, start with the other door, that way you get to use both feets.
Test / Competition:
1. How many passes in 60or 120 seconds. (If the ball stops/go away, the player picks the ball up and place it on the line a passes the ball again).
After two weeks practice, take a new test.

 

No. 6. – Passing on the wall:

The player pass the ball into the wall and control the ball all the way.

 

No. 7. – Shoot volley 1

The player hit the ball into the wall. The ball comes back in the air, and the player shoots at full or half-volley. Shoot on the first or second touch.

No. 8. – Shoot volley 2:

The player hit the ball into the wall. The ball comes back in the air, and the player shoots at full or half-volley. Shoot on the first or second touch.
Notice where Footballmaster is located.

 

No.9  – Play with 2 Footballmasters:

The player use 2 Footballmasters facing each other (5-6 meters) and use the wall and doors. Just play along and do as many passes and receiving you want.

 

Nr.  10 – The PRO training:

High degree of difficulty. Two Footballmasters are located in an angel.
Each door is numbered 1-4. Coach or teammate shoot the ball to the player and coach/teammate yells the number the player shall shoot the next ball trough. That number must be told the player before the ball leave the Footballmaster.
